Chemical Peel Treatment (Single Session)
A chemical peel is a treatment in which a licensed professional applies an acid solution to the skin to exfoliate and remove the damaged layers of the epidermis (top-most layer of skin) and dermis to a varying degree. Following that, the new epidermis and dermal connective tissue are regenerated. The treatment, which can be done on the face, neck or hands, results in new skin that is usually smoother in texture and more evenly pigmented. Duration of this treatment is typically 30 minutes per session, with minimal downtime. At Thomson Wellth Clinic, this treatment is conducted by a medical doctor.
